Historical monument: The Amandus Adamson’s museum, 2007

The House where lived and worked Amandus Adamson, an Estonian sculptor and painter.
With this restauration project it has been stated that the house will be restored to it’s former appearance and the house will start functioning as a museum that introduces the life and work of Amandus Adamson. There will be no changes done in the original dimension of the exterior of the house and the floor plan.
The Amandus Adamson’s museum has been opened 12. November 2010.
History:
It has been stated in various articles that the summer atelier was built somewhere between the 1892-1896.
The house was given as a gift to republic of Estonian in 2005 by Adamson’s daughter Maria Maddalena Carlsson for the 150th anniversary of birth of Amandus Adamson.
